Welcome to the LHL site. This is a safe space for discussion and collaboration, real time exchanges, and gathering of experiences about local humanitarian leadership (LHL).

• The website is run by a Community of Practice of local and national actors with support from allies in the international NGOs whose aim is to ensure that LHL approaches are considered & embedded in any humanitarian preparedness, response and changing approaches.
  
  
• The group represents different thematical expertise from diverse geographical contexts all over the world. The LHL aims to realize a transformation in the humanitarian sector that is locally led in line with the localization commitments of the 2016 World Humanitarian Summit which also led to two landmark documents, the Grand Bargain and the Charter for Change (C4C).
