People's Disaster Risk Reduction Network (PDRRN)
PDRRN was formerly known as the Pampanga Disaster Response Network (PDRN) organized barely a month prior to destructive eruption of Mt. Pinatubo in June 1991.
From humanitarian response and preparedness, it aligned its work with sustainable development through community-based disaster risk reduction (CBDRR) approach.
PDRRN now functions as a center that provides much-needed support for the operations of its partner community-based people’s organizations (CBPOs) and local government units (CBPOs). Apart from humanitarian response, its actions revolve around sustainable livelihoods, technical assistance to LGUs and CBPOs, and policy advocacy work as its overarching strategy.

What we do and our program portfolio
1. Strengthening Community Preparedness, Rapid
Response and Recovery (SHARPER Project).
aims to enhance the disaster preparedness capacity of communities. This effort is cognizant with the continuous promotion of the importance of forecast and impact-based early actions to cope and easily recover from potential disaster impact. Focus in 6 coastal and farming vulnerable communities with approximately 856 direct household beneficiaries.
2. Early Warning Early Action and Rapid Response
(EWEARR)
It aims to increase capacity of communities to prepare for, anticipate and cope with, and respond to potential impact of extreme weather events led by local government units. Cover 12 baranays in three 5th class municipalities of Bato, Bagamanoc and Panganiban, Catanduanes.
3. STY Trami, Man-yi Early Recovery Project.
in Camarines Sur and Catandunaes with 221 direct household beneficiaries on shelter assistance, fishers livelihood assistance, WASh and support local coordination platforms
