This SHIFT Asia Learning Session 4.0 marks a decade since the launch of the Grand Bargain , signaling
a transition from incremental reform to a localization (R)evolution. By moving beyond “business as
usual,” this session showcases how feminist and women-led initiatives from Bangladesh and
Indonesia are dismantling systemic gatekeeping to build a locally owned, gender-transformative
humanitarian system across Asia.
